Balance and Evolution Part One

People don't need jobs. People need money. Here me out.

There are way too many people on the planet right now, but that's not going to change. In fact, it's likely to get much worse, and I suspect you know that's true.

What does it take to feed, clothe and shelter ourselves, and also accomplish the same for all the others? Does it take all of the able adult workforce to do it? Not hardly. My personal guesstimate is that we could do it with a fourth of the present workforce; the technology is there, shortening production time and labor needed. So let's put that fourth to work. Let's have them paid handsomely.

And let's have them taxed handsomely too, as well as the owners of those companies. And let's divide that tax money among the remaining three fourths of adults. Let's give them enough to have adequate but never opulent shelter, food and clothing. And maybe a little something more so that they can create all the luxury items for the working fourth.

Liars and the truth.

Sunday Morning LookSee?

I'm thinking of starting a blog and calling it THE SUNDAY MORNING LOOKSEE.

The concept is simple; people post things they have personally done online, and everybody takes a looksee on Sunday mornings.

They can post anything, I certainly would never play the censor; as long as it's not deceptive and turns out to be spam. Basically it will be for writers and visual artists to preview their work.

Of course I will be self-serving and will post a lot of what I've done during the week, but I promise to never be discouraging of anyone else's work.

Now I'm sounding like I've decided to do it. I'll keep you posted. If it happens, WIWWP will be the first to know.

Like in the lab,...

... a culture must grow to live. America is still in a great culture slump, which is worse than an economic slump because it involves the soul.

Beyond mere talent.

"Talent does what it can. Genius does what it must." - fortune cookie I received that changed my outlook on myself, helping to explain some of my obsessions.

Outside the box?

There's a reason for the saying 'think outside the box'. Have you seen what's IN the box?
